About us

Who are the brothers?

We are two hard working brothers from the backstreets of Sweden. Fighting for bread since childhood. But with lots of love and loyalty from a big family consisting of a single mother, an elder sister and 4 brothers we all managed through it somehow.

Who is Fiddesan?

Fiddesan is a 42 year old, self made entrepreneur who outside of hard work and spending time with his family, fiancée and 2 kids. Have since he was 14 years old had a passion for Electronic music and especially the making of his own Electronic music. Mostly in the genre of Trance, with sub genres as Progressive Trance and Uplifting Trance.

His musical career started with his first goal in 2007 (Learning) to make and album, it soon got followed by another album in 2008 (Perfecting). Then he fell into the trap of rythmic games. Guitar Hero 3 to be exact. And for many years was totally and heavily influenced by all things rock. He started to pick up acoustic and electric guitar and started spontaniously rehearsing with Addesan and som other friends… (Also note that it was Addesan who deviously introduced him to Guitar Hero 3 in the first place!)

But come 2018-2019 Fiddesan found his home again in the EDM scene. Renewed with alot more understanding of instruments and music in general he felt he had evolved and leveled up. 1 year later he was finished with his 3rd album (Advancing)

The album contained a clear upgrade in musicality and technicality. with strong emotive vocals from Tlyyysa on (The Thing You Call Love)
witch was the first song ever to get thousands of streams thru all platforms.

The official journey had begun. With the completion of his 3rd album and the success of his first single with Tlyyysa he decided it was time to release all albums onto Spotify, to kick his baby’s out of the nest so to speak.

After 2 years of trying to reach some new hights he gave up the quest almost entirely. Making only a cover version of his girlfriends school project. (Cant Help Falling Into EDM)

Until lightning struck while he was goofing around with a new song that was meant to be an 8-bit SID track.

He quickly realized that the melodies he had created for fun would be awesome in an EDM track. Said and done he compiled the track within hours, everything just fell into place. even the lyrics came on the very first listen after the track was completed. His beautiful girlfriend (MissCrook) recorded the vocals perfectly on the very first try. (Fortune and Fame) With this momentum everything about releasing and making music felt fun, energizing and exciting again.

His 3 latest realeases; Fortune and Fame (June 2025), Higher Baby! (August 2025) and the latest Dawnbreaker (October 2025) have all independently reached hights that he new thought possible.

Now the real journey begins!

Who is Addesan?

Addesan is a 40-year-old musician, programmer by trade, and all-round tech-tinkerer by soul, who’s been “messing about with music” for most of his life, though it took him a good couple of decades to admit he was actually doing it seriously. Unlike his brother Fiddesan, who proudly plants the Trance flag, Addesan tends to wander through rock, orchestral, and soundtrack-inspired landscapes, usually with his favourite guitar (lovingly nicknamed Aoi for its blue color) in hand and some overly ambitious story in his head.

His very first ”serious” track wasn’t exactly rock, but skirted the edges: at 16, armed only with the DAW Reason and no clue about instruments or music theory, he remixed the Secret of Mana final dungeon theme (Leave Time for Love). He thought it was brilliant at the time. Not so much these days, but to this day is quietly impressed he even managed to finish it. And after that… nothing much. Just random tracks every now and then. For years. Music simmered in the background until his mid-20s, when curiosity and Cubase (and far too much money spent on gear) lured him back.

The real turning point came not with a DAW but with Guitar Hero 3 (deviously introduced to him by none other than himself, dragging poor Fiddesan into the obsession too). Soon after came Rock Band, where Addesan fell in love with the drums. Video game plastic kits turned into real e-kits, which turned into cover jams with friends. He even made a reputation at work for ”impulse-buying a guitar on his lunch break.” (To be fair, it was right there in the shop window. What’s a guy to do?)

By his late 20s, music theory had him in a chokehold. Convinced he had no talent, he decided to brute-force it through ”science.” He devoured harmony, scales, and cadences, all while practicing guitar and drums obsessively. This culminated in a freak accident of fate: spotting an ad for Företagsrock, a company-centered ”battle of the bands.” Before long, he was guitarist for the gloriously named I Stepped on a Semla. To everyone’s surprise (especially his), the band reached the finals, marking a lifelong core memory — and cementing guitar as his closest companion.

Somewhere along this winding path, composition took hold for real. One day in the studio, noodling on a small riff, his drummer and best friend Isak perked up: “Hey, what’s that?” That seed grew into what would become Of Gods and Humans — a sprawling concept album in his head, telling the myth of crusaders, gods, and the tragedy of a dying world. The story had been brewing in his head for years if not into decades, but it wasn’t until the track ”From the Horizon” and ”Heavens High” that it revealed itself in earnest.

So far, only a few tracks from the saga have made it into the world (Rain & Thunder in 2024, From the Horizon in 2025), but the larger album continues to unfold, piece by piece. Alongside it brews a project codenamed ”Return”, a companion story that from Addesan’s mind predates but connects with Of Gods and Humans, and while listening to his brother’s music, was gloriously inspired by Fiddesan’s amazing tunes as anchors to the story, soundtracks to the events in Addesan’s head. This proved beyond anything that sibling rivalry is obsolete, and sibling synergy is the hallmark of Addesan and Fiddesan together.

Unlike Fiddesan, who confidently declares ”the journey has begun,” Addesan tends to shrug and say: ”Well, I guess I’ve started now, might as well keep going and get these things out of my head.” But the truth is, behind the humor and self-jabs, the music keeps pouring out. Riffs, stories, and soundtracks for the worlds in his head.

Together, under Shady Lantern Recording, the brothers are two sides of the same flame: Fiddesan lighting the Trance and Epic skies, Addesan grounding the mythic rock and orchestral storms. It’s not about who shines brighter. It’s about the Lantern they hold up together.
